This information is collected for the primary purpose of delivering safe, effective clinical care, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting practice operations.

We may also use your information for directly related purposes you would reasonably expect, such as appointment reminders, follow-up communication, and internal clinical quality review.

With your consent, limited information may also be used for practice communications such as updates, education, or service announcements. You may opt out of these communications at any time.

  • When you use our website or patient systems such as DappleOS

  • From referring practitioners, pharmacies, or pathology providers, with consent

  • Secure clinical software providers such as DappleOS

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.

Electronic records are stored securely within DappleOS, an encrypted, Australian-based clinical platform that complies with the Privacy Act and relevant digital health standards.

When information is no longer required, it is securely destroyed or permanently de-identified in accordance with legal and professional obligations.

7. Access and Correction

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

Requests can be made in writing using the contact details below. For security purposes, identification may be required before information is released. There is no charge for accessing or correcting your information.

8. Keeping Information Accurate

We take reasonable steps to ensure your records are accurate and up to date. Please let us know if your personal or health details change so we can maintain safe and effective care.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, technology, or clinical practice. The most current version will always be available on the Savu Studio website.
