Weight Loss Consultation

$59.00

Weight management services are medically guided and individualised, recognising that weight is influenced by biology, hormones, lifestyle, and health history.

Consultations for weight management may be conducted via telehealth or in person, where clinically appropriate. Care focuses on sustainable change, ongoing review, and support rather than rapid or extreme approaches.

Initial Consultation - $49

Your first medical weight management consultation is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand the full picture of your health, not just the number on the scale.

This appointment includes a detailed review of your:

  • Medical history and current medications

  • Weight journey and previous strategies

  • Lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, nutrition, and activity

  • Goals, expectations, and readiness for change

Together, we explore the factors influencing your weight and develop a personalised, evidence-based plan that may include lifestyle strategies, behavioural support, and where clinically appropriate, medical therapy.

Depending on your individual assessment, baseline pathology may be recommended to support safe prescribing and guide treatment decisions. This may include blood tests to assess metabolic health, hormone function, nutritional status, or other relevant markers. Any investigations are ordered only when clinically indicated and discussed with you in advance.

Review Consultations - $59

Review appointments focus on ongoing support, safety, and progress over time.

These sessions may include:

  • Monitoring response to treatment

  • Reviewing side effects or tolerability

  • Adjusting your plan as your body adapts

  • Interpreting pathology results if undertaken

  • Providing education and practical strategies to support long-term success

Weight management is approached as a long-term partnership, not a quick fix. Care is paced, individualised, and guided by both clinical evidence and your lived experience.

Where clinically appropriate, consultations may be conducted via secure telehealth, allowing continuity of care with the same level of assessment, education, and follow-up.
